I’m Alex & I do Marketing Based out of Los Angeles
It took science to teach me how much I love marketing. Specifically, I had an idea at the end of my third (miserable) year of studying biology. After a quick walk across campus and a very short form completion, I was an English major.

My dive into life with an arts degree is working out. Studying literature taught me to write and writing led me to love marketing and communicating with others.
What I Do & What I’ve Done
Currently, I serve as the VP of Digital Content at City National Bank where I lead a team of content creators and strategists. We produce thoughtful, eye-catching campaigns for all types of people.
Before this, I worked as a copywriter for a large auction house and then cut my teeth in the marketing world through freelance work. I eventually landed at Scorpion, an agency where I worked as a senior strategist for the company’s largest clients.
When I am not writing, I travel (mostly to Japan), cycle way too much, and geek out on science fiction.
